Job Description

  • Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. 

  • Reconcile bank statements, accounts, and other financial data to ensure accuracy. 

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. 

  • Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes. 

  • Perform financial analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement. 

  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure proper liquidity for operational needs. 

  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights into financial performance and projections. 

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions. 

  • Assist in external audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations to auditors. 

  • Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations, and make necessary adjustments to accounting practices. 

  • Recommend process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting. 

  • Support the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws. 

  • Provide financial insights to management to support strategic decision-making.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Proven experience working as an Accountant or in a similar financial role. 

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, regulations, and standards. 

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. 

  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial record-keeping. Re

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. 

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with deadlines. 

  • Knowledge of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems is advantageous.
