Job Description

Role Purpose: To provide ICT support for East West seed employees across Myanmar and level one network support.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Receive, manage and record IT help desk requests receiving either by telephone, email or through service desk tool.
  • Timely resolution of all service requests.
  • Maintain appropriate logs of ICT equipment’s, take appropriate actions against Alerts, Warnings and errors in logs.
  • Installation, configuration and support of IT equipment (PC, laptops, printers, cell phones, handhelds, switch, access points… etc.)
  • User account maintenance (Password reset /unlock user account).
  • Video Conference support.
  • Manage and Maintain CC TV surveillance system .
  • Maintain ICT inventory of all ICT equipment in Google sheet or Service desk.
  • Installation and maintaining inventory of all air cards if provided for remote / traveler users.
  • Perform Preventive maintenance for Laptop / Desktop / Network / Printers in every Quarter.
  • Telephone installation on users’ desk & help fix telephone issues.
  • Play role of ICT infra project team member to deliver ICT infra local / global project on time.
  • Work as a team member, providing support to colleagues as and when required.
  • Any other duties within the ICT support scope, the title of the post and its grading as requested by the line manager or Head of Department.
  • Network Infrastructure support (Internet, Intranet, LAN connectivity )

  • Public web site updation.

  • Support intranet site issues with the help of TH web support team & WiFi connectivity support.

  • Record network down time and send monthly report of network down time. 

  • Network cable crimping & establishing network points at designated location.

  • Windows environment knowledge (AD, DNS, DHCP)
  • Client operations systems (Windows 10)
  • Lan / Wan issues troubleshooting
  • GSuite apps
  • Mobile devices (Android)
  • Up-to-Date technical knowledge
  • In depth understanding of software and equipment of end users  
  • Work independently and in team environment.
  • Communication (English / regional language)
  • Good accurate record keeping
  • Good interpersonal and customer care skills
