Summary of Responsibility Scope:
Material Controller is responsible for proper record keeping of Materials, Tools, Equipment and machines inventory used for projects and be accountable for proper recording, safekeeping, and reporting of Tools, Equipment and Machineries ready to be deployed to site when required by projects.
Primary Job Descriptions
(1) Safeguard assets and assure accurate and timely recording of all input and output transactions of Materials, Tools & Equipment and machineries in and out of the project site warehouse.
(2) Keep Materials, Tools & Equipment in designated areas and follow safe-keeping procedures of different materials and tools as per instruction.
(3) Arrange incoming inspection of materials and tools when arrive to site warehouse by reporting to Senior Project coordinator/Assistant Project Manager/Site Manager/Project Manager and report record of inspections
(4) Prepare receipt notes for Materials, Tools & Equipment delivered to designated stockyard by internal project teams (users) and by suppliers and report records
(5) Prepare issue notes, Delivery Order for Materials, Tools & Equipment issued or received at site warehouse and make regular report to designated Project Coordinator.
(6) Keep proper filing of all issue notes, delivery orders for audit purpose.
(7) Perform test runs or regular checks of tools & equipment as per Maintenance Department guideline and keep check-lists and test run forms.
(8) Report machine mal-functions at site warehouse to Senior Project Coordinator/ Assistant Project Manager/ Site Manager/ Project Manager and liaise with Maintenance Department to repair.
(9) Keep proper house-keeping and follow safety & security guidelines to keep Site Warehouse premises clean, safe and secure.
(10) Monitor Security personnel assigned at Site Warehouse and report of irregularities or suspicion to Senior Project Coordinator/ Assistant Project Manager/ Site Manager/ Project Manager.
(11) Report minor repair requirements of site warehouse to Senior Project Coordinator/ Assistant Project Manager/ Site Manager/ Project Manager.
