We are looking for a professional and customer-focused Pharmacist to join our new Health & Beauty retail pharmacy business. The Pharmacist will be responsible for providing professional pharmacy services, ensuring safe and accurate dispensing of medicines, advising customers on health and wellness products, and maintaining proper pharmacy operations, stock control, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription and OTC medicines accurately and safely in accordance with applicable regulations and company SOPs.
• Provide professional guidance to customers on proper medication usage, dosage, precautions, and general health & wellness products.
• Handle customer inquiries and recommend appropriate OTC products within a professional scope.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, labeling, and organization of medicines and pharmaceutical products.
• Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, damaged products and conduct regular stock checks using FEFO (First Expired, First Out) principles.
• Maintain accurate records of medicine sales, stock movement, and required pharmacy documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable pharmacy regulations, company policies, and operational standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and professional standards of the pharmacy and customer service area.
• Support the Store Manager in daily store operations and ensure smooth pharmacy operations.
• Coordinate with Store, Warehouse, Procurement, and other relevant teams for stock replenishment and product availability.
• Provide product knowledge and basic training to pharmacy assistants and store staff when required.
• Support health, wellness, and promotional activities while maintaining professional pharmacy standards.
• Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
• Monitor and report medicine/product shortages, quality concerns, and other operational issues to management.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or equivalent.
• Must hold a valid pharmacist license/registration applicable to practice.
• Previous experience in retail pharmacy, community pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, or healthcare-related business is preferred.
• Fresh graduates with the required pharmacist qualification and license/registration may also be considered, depending on business requirements.
• Good knowledge of prescription and OTC medicines, health & wellness products, and basic pharmacy practices.
• Knowledge of skincare, personal care, vitamins, supplements, and other Health & Beauty products is an advantage.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and responsibility in handling medicines.
• Basic computer skills; experience with POS or inventory systems is an advantage.
• Good teamwork, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment and work according to store operating hours/shifts.
