Job Summary

The QA Assistant plan, implements and enforces field inspection measures to ensure availability of high quality seeds, seed quality improvement, innovations and quality awareness internally and externally.  

Roles and Responsibilities

Field

• Closely coordinate with the Seed Production department on field inspection activities and ensure field observations and resolutions  are discussed after each visit.

• Schedule and monitor and check fields in a timely, complete and accurate manner.

• Document all field inspection activities using existing Web based application or forms as appropriate

• Update data in the Cropin program including all field inspections.

• Analysis of various risks  from seed production.

• Control and improve the planting of GOT specified time.

• Closely coordinate with GOT farm labor and ensure on time availability of results in the system

• Foster a safe, secure and trusting environment for QA GOT fields and labors.

• Initiate and lead quality improvement and innovations in the field.

• Inform result quality  seed (purity ,germination and Seed-borne disease) to SPD to find ways to improve quality of seeds.

• Update and compliance  the Group FQ procedure  and build to implement the FQ procedure.

• Make a travel budgetary plan for field inspection in coordination with the QA supervisor.

• Support other tasks of the QA department whenever needed.

Lab

• Visually inspect the seed at receiving and after processing (blending, cleaning, drying and before packing stage).

• Inform irregular cases to respective sections immediately.

• Measure SMC, TSW and check the seed physical appearance.

• Sample, divide and prepare the seeds for quality tests.

• Record all checking and measured results in the Inspection Form.

• Create determinations and update the results in ABS.

• Support other tasks of the QA department whenever needed.

Education

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, major in Agronomy, Crop Science, Botany, Natural Resources and/or related science course
