Job Description

  • Ensure the hotels group Brand Service standards are consistently practiced
  • Read the logbook and Check all of the room key.
  • Check the float money/ emergency float money (if the cashier not duty).
  • Check arrival list and departure list.
  • Check the BC room daily. Prepare for Walk in Data Base (monthly).
  • Check the fix assess list (monthly). Prepare for BC revenue (monthly).
  • Need to report exceptional information to Duty Manager.
  • Assist Duty Manager to prepare for the Front Office Duty Roster.
  • Check the key damage and report to duty manager.
  • (CRS) system (reservation and check in).
  • Prepare for Monthly report. Daily check email/reservation.
  • Put the reservation detail into Easy FO system.
  • Room assign for arrival (next day). Check arrival list with HO (daily). Double check for today arrival list.
  • Ensure that all customer queries or requests are handled in a polite and efficient manner and that a high level of customer service is consistently maintained.
  • Must be present at all times in the Reception area (except at handover times).
  • To check in all guests, Groups & Tours to the Hotel in an efficient and welcoming .manner, ensuring an outstanding first impression and meeting all brand standards.
  • To be totally familiar with all facilities, functions and special events in the Hotel on a daily basis, assisting guests with any inquiries.
  • To be aware of all services which is KMA hotels group Naypyitaw offers, inclusive of recreational, food and beverage, guest services, special events and promotions.
  • To be aware of top corporate and VIP clients of the Hotel, recognizing and welcoming them by name upon their return visits to the Hotel.
  • To take a personal interest in all guests for the duration of their stay, ensuring their expectations of KMA hotels group Naypyitaw are exceeded.
  • To be fully conversant with Hotel room types and availability, assisting all guests with reservation inquiries and bookings.
  • To provide guests services such as currency exchange, safety deposit box facilities and cash advances where authorized.
  • To check out all guests, Groups & Tours from the Hotel in an efficient and timely manner, ensuring correct cashiering procedures are followed and all charges are posted appropriately.
  • To be respectful of our guest’s privacy, ensuring their every request in this regard is strictly adhered to and their details remain confidential.
  • To be totally familiar with internal hotel procedures, inclusive of housekeeping, lost and found, food and beverage, internal and external communications, fire and emergency.
  • To be fully conversant with and operate the Hotel’s communication systems.
  • To be fully conversant with manual Reception procedures to be used in the event of the Hotel’s computer systems being off-line.
  • To be fully conversant with and operate guest reservation systems.
  • To be fully conversant with the Hotel Emergency and Evacuation procedures .
  • This position includes night shift work as well as early and late shifts on a rotating basis.
  • Ensure grooming is in line with the Hotel policy.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of all credit procedures and ensure that these procedures are adhered to.
  • Must know all hotel products and services and actively recommend to our guests.
  • Ensure that there is a thorough hand over at the completion of each shift.
  • Any other duties assigned by Front Office Management and Supervisors.

Job Requirements

  •  Bachelor Graduate
  • Possess good understanding and knowledge in document control and management
  • Pleasant personalities, mature, with good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work fast under pressure and pro-active and highly resourceful
  • Professional, mature with an attention to detail is preferred
  • Abilities to multi-task and work independently
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint applications is highly preferred
