Set up and manage Codebyte's development, testing and production environments.
Managing servers, cloud infrastructure, networks and related systems.
Managing application deployment and ensuring that new versions are deployed properly and safely.
Managing Codebyte's clients' servers and other infrastructure.
Monitoring the performance, availability and security of client systems.
Managing system backups and ensuring that appropriate recovery arrangements are in place.
Identifying and resolving infrastructure, deployment and production problems including interacting with developers to resolve issues related to applications and their operating environments.
Maintain system security, user access, passwords, keys and permissions.
Keep the development, and production environments properly documented.
Assist in implementing security controls and vulnerability management.
Advise on infrastructure requirements, technology costs and necessary improvements as the business grows.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree/ diploma in CS, IT, Computer/Network Engineering or related field.
The candidate should have around 5 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Systems Administration or a similar role.
Good experience administering Linux servers.
Experience with AWS, Azure or another major cloud platform.
Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.
Good knowledge of Git and software development environments.
Knowledge of networking, DNS, firewalls and basic information security.
Experience with scripting, preferably Python or Bash.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
