ROLE PURPOSE

The primary function of the Investor Relations is to manage the flow of information to ensure that shareholder rights are prioritized through strategic, financial & operational endeavors of Yoma Bank. Achieved through collection, validation and dissemination of information, the Investor Relations team ensures that our shareholders are adequately informed to make decisions on the Bank’s behalf. Furthermore, the team validates and as required, rectifies the Bank’s compliance with the contractual and legal obligations set forth by the shareholders. The successful candidate will also assist with enhancing current relationships with the institutional investor.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performing due diligence, answering RFP, and fulfilling periodical reporting requirements from the Investors
  • Creating and coordinating with various departments to set up the Investors’ periodical reporting templates. The successful candidate needs to ensure that the reporting is done during the time stipulated in the Shareholders’ agreement
  • Assisting the CEO compiles the quarterly CEO report to the Investors, which contains updates on the key issues, initiatives, strategy, pilot products, digital initiatives, branches, financial performance, variance of KPIs, HR and regulatory approval status
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for Investors and respond to Investors’ inquiries
  • Organizing shareholders’ meeting and providing assistance to shareholders
  • Participating in the drafting, execution, and distribution of the annual report, which should include but not limited to general operations overview, message from the CEO and Chairman of the BoD, directors’ report, financial performance, and shareholder information
  • Review and update current Corporate Governance Manual structure of the bank

  • Preferably 3 – 5 years’ in relevant role & experience.
  • Possess discretion and diplomacy
  • Possess strong analytical, quantitative and sharp problem-solving skills
  • Well-organized, detailed oriented and reliable
  • Ability to communicate effectively with leadership to move the organization to action on strategic plans
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to function effectively within a team/ with the bank
  • Ability to recommend possible solutions and escalate appropriately
  • Demonstrates SPEAKING OUT
  • Ability to tailor/write the content well in both English and Myanmar
