ROLE PURPOSE  

It will be primarily analyzing of credit proposals for new and existing clients in accordance with financial performance to alleviate in Financial Risk, and monitoring of repayment capacities and capabilities. In addition, to assist in preparation of weekly and monthly reports, perform ongoing analysis and complete other duties as assigned. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Primarily accountable for credit risk assessment, decision or recommendation for SME credit files in line with the banks’ risk appetite. 

• Partner product and relationship teams to optimize credit structuring to support customer’s requirements while mitigating key risks. 

• Use feedback to consistently deliver on all tasks and goals  

• Hold accountable for producing quality and risk assessed timely results  

• Provide performance feedback to team that facilitates development  

• Break down problems into fundamental parts, identify root causes and address problems  

• Make informed decisions based on the information that is relevant, current and clear 

• Ad-hoc duties assigned by HOD/Team Lead 

Education & Special Training

• University degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics / Engineering or otherwise quantitative field 

Experience 

• Minimum 2 years’ work experience conducting in Analysis/ underwriting of commercial loans 

Knowledge & Skills  

• Good understanding of financial statements 
• Good understanding of credit analysis and key risks associated with commercial lending
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills besides strong analytical, problem solving and presentation skills  
• Proficiency in English Presentation and Communication highly desirable 
• Give constructive feedback to improve performance 

Languages

• Myanmar Native Speaker 

• Ability to communicate (verbal and written) in English shall be the advantage
