Roles & Responsibilities

• Assisting the team lead with all aspects of fiber optic transmission design and network.
• Ability to design and detail survey for Backbone network and new customers.
• Ability to Core Planning and implementation for each project.
• Strong Knowledge of Fiber Transmission Backbone Network and ODN network.
• Perform routine maintenance activities on fiber optic transmission equipment and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of installation, maintenance, and repair activities, including network diagrams, test results, and equipment inventory.
• To ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to fiber optic transmission systems, such as signal loss, network congestion, and connectivity problems.
• Use test tools to identify the root cause of problems and implement appropriate solutions.
• Dealing and negotiation with all customers and vendors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for Project and daily operation.
• Perform emergency troubleshooting and restoration tasks during non-working hours, including public holidays, weekends, and after office hours. 
• Generate reports for daily/weekly/Monthly.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, or related field preferred.
• At least 2 or 3 years’ experience in Fiber Transmission Network, design and operation. 
•  Proficiency in the related software applications, such as Google Earth, Microsoft Project, Excel, Visio & PowerPoint.
