The position of Hire Purchase Loan Business Development Head assists in attaining bank goals through active participation in hire purchase loan sales management and developers/real estate management program. This position will be executing A Bank’s home loan business strategy with a view to achieve targeted revenue budgets. He/she will also work closely with various teams, especially credit unit at A Bank’s Head Office and Branches to develop and maintain new strategic banking relationships & act as the main point of contact.

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement the strategy based on the market requirements in order to achieve the requirements, target and organization’s objective.
  • New dealers on-boarding
  • Cross selling (360 degree point of view) different loan services and products to customer
  • Review existing dealer’s support level on frequent basis to maintain the performance of HP portfolio
  • Keeping dealers aware on company’s product and services changes
  • Prepare weekly market intelligence decks for discussion and review  
  • Resolve any issues, requests, and feedback from dealers to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Procuring new clients through direct contact, word-of-mouth, and collaboration with the marketing department.
  • Creating, planning networking activities to research and connect with prospective clients
  • Maintaining meaningful relationships with existing clients to ensure that they are retained.
  • Suggesting upgrades or added products and services that may be of interest to clients.
  • Equipping staff with the technical and social skills needed to enhance sales.
  • Reviewing clients' feedback and implementing necessary changes.
  • Remaining in tune with trends in consumption to ensure that our offerings remain relevant.
  • Other ad-hoc duties assigned by the superior

Job Requirements [Knowledge & Skills Essential]

  •  Ability to develop sales and business development skills for customers and/or projects.
  •  A sound knowledge of Myanmar market
  • Familiar with loan origination and underwriting guidelines
  • Proficient organizational skills with ability to prioritize

  • Good time management skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team player with ability to coordinate with cross-team members and support functions.

  • Ability to work autonomously & capacity to take pressure and deliver business objectives, complete task deadline and prioritize workload are some key traits of a successful candidate.

  • Basic Degree in Business Finance, Economics or other business management discipline.
