Position Objective:

This role leads the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing technology solutions that align with the organization’s strategic goals. This role is responsible for overseeing the solution/application architecture team, collaborating with business and technical stakeholders, and ensuring architectural best practices are followed across all projects.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the overall solution architecture strategy for the Large Transformation Project.
• Lead and manage a team of solution architects to design and build a scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud-based platform.
• Work closely with the project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Oversee the design and development of all cloud-based solutions, framework design for measuring platform performance, logging and observability framework, security framework, identity and IAM framework, caching & queuing framework etc.
• Define and drive the enterprise architecture vision and roadmap.
• Lead architectural governance and ensure compliance with standards and policies.
• Oversee the design of end-to-end solutions across multiple platforms and domains.
• Review and approve architecture designs, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture.
• Analyze system requirements and ensure that systems will be securely integrated with current applications.
• Identify and implement new technologies and best practices to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the solution architecture team.
• Manage the UAT process and solution implementations with timely go-live Work with Business Users to ensure preparation and validations of UAT plans including the Test Scripts as per the signed off URSs/ SFSs.
• To lead day-to-day operations of end-user support in line with agreed Service Levels and ensure appropriate cover for out of hours support within internal team or external vendors.
• To ensure there is adequate cover to support end-user support on a daily basis and that any incidents are requests are responded and resolved within agreed SLAs. 
• To ensure end-user support have the correct controls in place to protect from all significant external and internal threads. 
• To investigate and resolve technical challenges within IT team and support the senior management level in operation decision making. Authorize or reject actions as required to maintain a cohesive IT service provided to AIA Myanmar. 

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering or related field preferred
• Minimum 8 years’ of experiences in software development and delivery, project management, system analyst and engineering and solution architecture
• Exposure to TOGAF concepts and adoption.
• Excellent understanding of technology principles, frameworks and architectures.
• Experience in leading a team of designers, developers, and architects.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience in working with Agile development methodologies.
