Job Title: Hotel Operation Manager
Reports To: General Manager / Director of Operations
Location: Nyaung U (Bagan)
Job Type: Full-Time (Ability to work flexible hours,)

Position Summary:

The Hotel Operations Manager oversees the daily operations of all hotel departments, ensuring high standards of guest service, operational efficiency, and profitability. This role works closely with department heads to implement strategies, maintain quality standards, and deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate all operational departments (front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, maintenance, etc.)
  • Ensure smooth daily operations and guest satisfaction across all hotel services.
  • Monitor service quality standards and ensure compliance with company policies and guidelines.
  • Manage staffing levels, scheduling, training, and performance evaluations of departmental staff.
  • Implement cost control measures and revenuegenerating strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve operational issues promptly and professionally.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and backof-house areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Work closely with the General Manager and provide reports on operations, financial performance, and guest feedback.
  • Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to promote the hotel’s services and events.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, legal, and licensing requirements.

Education & Experience:

  • Any Bachelor, Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in hotel operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience in a branded or fullservice hotel is preferred.
  • Age 30 ~40 years.

    Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Indepth knowledge of hotel operations, guest services, and revenue management.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, PMS, POS systems).
  • Ability to analyze financial reports and manage budgets.
  • Strong problemsolving and conflict resolution skills.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Customerfocused mindset with a passion for hospitality.

    Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Multilingual skills are a plus (especially in tourist regions).
