ROLE PURPOSE

As a Lending Product Specialist, you will play a key role in the development and management of innovative lending products that support the growth of Yoma Bank’s lending portfolio. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including Customer-Facing Units, Credit Risk, Technology, Operations, Finance, and Marketing & Communications—to design customer-centric solutions and ensure successful, timely product launches

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strategy Delivery - Contribute to the execution and delivery of Yoma Bank’s lending product strategies in alignment with business goals.
• Market Analysis - Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities for product innovation and process improvement.
• Product Conceptualization & Implementation - Translate business requirements and market insights into actionable product concepts, enhancement ideas, and technical specifications for development teams.
• Product Enhancement - Identify and drive opportunities to optimize end-to-end lending processes, improving both efficiency and customer experience.
• Product Performance - Monitor the performance of existing lending products and portfolios to identify enhancement opportunities and ensure continued relevance and competitiveness.
• Backlog Management - Manage and prioritize a product backlog of features and improvements that deliver value to both customers and the bank.
• Cross-function Collaboration - Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure the timely development and successful launch of high-impact, customer-focused lending products

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• Solid understanding of the Myanmar lending market and related products
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights and recommendations

Education & Special Training

• Bachelor’s in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science or other relevant fields
• Professional Certifications in Scrum, Agile methodologies or Product Management are a plus

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the banking or financial services industry, ideally with exposure to product development or product management
• Proven track record in creating consumer-centric products

Languages

• Professional proficiency in Myanmar and English (Both written and verbal communications)
