Key Responsibilities

• Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Ensure test coverage aligns with business requirements and user expectations.
• Perform manual and/or automated testing on digital banking applications.
• Log, track, and report defects with detailed steps and evidence.
• Validate fixes and conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with stakeholders.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and QA process improvements.
• Support post-deployment verification in production environments.
• Understand core banking workflows (transfers, payments, account management).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1–2 years of QA experience, preferably in banking/financial services.

Familiarity with:

• Test case management tools (JIRA etc).
• Defect tracking systems (Bugzilla, Azure DevOps).
• Web/mobile testing (Chrome DevTools, BrowserStack, Appium).
• Knowledge of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with API testing (REST/SOAP, Postman, Swagger).
• Banking domain knowledge (core banking systems, payment gateways, security protocols).
