1. Product strategy, positioning and offerings

  • Participate to the preparation of the annual and monthly sales projections and annual budget
  • Execute the annual, quarterly, and monthly strategic sales plan in line with the sales
  • projections in the budget
  • In collaboration with the Head of Marketing, FP&A Manager, Business Development team and
  • Country Head profile the potential customers within the catchment area of each center
  • In collaboration with the Head of Marketing and Country Head, prepare a sustainable
and
  • effective marketing and sales strategy for each center
  • Identify the optimum pricing levels in collaboration with the FP&A Manager and Country Head
  • In collaboration with the Head of Marketing, prepare, communicate, and execute an annual
  • and monthly promotion strategy to stimulate supply and conversion
  • Work in collaboration with the Head of Finance to identify and implement suitable financing
  • solutions and payment methods for the prospect students
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and market conditions and adapt the product offering and
  • pricing to maximize sales and profitability
  • Propose commercial strategies / tactics that are healthy for the organization’s profitability and
  • not only to maximize sales

 

2. Sales performance management

  • Achieve the monthly sales targets across all centers / Country Target/ Milestone Target
  • Monitor sales performance across an elaborate set of metrics and derive insights for capturing
  • issues and continuous improvement
  • Take effective corrective measures rapidly to address issues that impedes on sales
  • performance
  • Ensure sustainable sales practices and ensure fairness while managing the sales team
  • Establish / operate a robust sales training capability and integrate tools and method to
  • maintain a consistent and continuously improving sales performance and team management
  • practices in collaboration with the Learning & Development function
  • Operate the Sales performance management structure to ensure that the incentives and
  • deterrents are producing the desired outcome and are well integrated with the established
  • HR processes and policies

3. Cross-departmental collaboration

  • Demonstrate leadership by ensuring compliance to the ground rules and fairness for all the
  • stakeholders involved in the sales and marketing funnel
  • Partner with the Marketing function to design and support marketing plans driving robust
  • supply to the centers
  • Partner with and support the Service function to enable synergies between sales and service
  • Partner with the TMK and DSF functions to optimize the supply to the centers while ensuring
  • fair trade-offs between volume and quality of shows
  • Clearly communicate to the Sales team the organizational policies and encourage a culture of
  • collaboration and respect across functions

4. Team Management

  • Plan and manage the resources required for the Sales function
  • Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and training of the new Sales staff
  • Recruit talented sales team member while ensuring alignment with the organizational values
  • and policies
  • Organize and / or plan training sessions designed for the School Sales Manager and
  • Educational Consultants in collaboration with the Learning & Development function
  • Partner with the HR Manager to put in place strategies to retain and motivate your sales staff
  • while maintaining high level of performance
  • Manage underperformance and ensure accountability by applying rigorously, while not
  • ruthlessly, the measures contained in the performance management structure
  • Organize participative events to encourage team building across centers
  • Provide support to the School Sales Manager and mediate if necessary, when student disputes
  • arise

  • Qualification and Experience Required
  • Education: A bachelor's in a related field such as Sales, Business Development
  • Languages: Excellent written communication in English and Myanmar
  • Previous Experience: Minimum 6 years of experiences in related field
  • Minimum 3 year in management role (not necessarily in Education industry)
