Job Purpose:

To oversee daily warehouse operations and  manage staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor the receipt, order, assembly, and dispatch of goods.
• Ensure optimal utilization of space and mechanical handling equipment.
• Maintain stock control systems and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Enforce health and safety standards and ensure the warehouse complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff; manage performance and development.
• Maintain standards of housekeeping in the warehouse and ensure a clean and safe work environment.
• Liaise with suppliers, transport companies, and customers as necessary.
• Use warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and managing workflow.

  Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Inventory accuracy rate
• Order fulfillment accuracy and timeliness
• Warehouse productivity metrics (e.g., orders picked per hour)
• Safety incident rate
• Employee turnover and performance

Qualifications:

Education & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics.
• Over 30. Years old
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory software.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with logistics and supply chain processes.

  Working Conditions:

• Primarily warehouse-based with regular exposure to physical activity.
• May require occasional weekend or evening work depending on business needs.
