Role Purpose

As a Strategy Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Strategy team to accelerate and facilitate the growth of Yoma Bank. The projects will be ad-hoc based on Yoma Bank’s strategic priorities, focus area of business and changing business environment. The role will involve influencing and driving the activities of key stakeholders throughout the organization.

Duty and Responsibilities

• Being instrumental to the development and delivery of Yoma Bank’s strategic short-term priorities and long-term organization strategy
• Overseeing and driving large, often cross-functional organization-wide projects and initiatives
• Aligning departmental goals, processes, and resource allocation with the organizational strategy
• Conducting research and analyses of project outcomes, operational effectiveness, processes
• Assessing market trends and competitors to identify threats and opportunities
• Presenting findings, projections, and recommended actions with key stakeholders
• Monitoring and reporting on projects
• Supporting and guiding senior executive decision-making processes

• Minimum education requirement – Bachelor’s in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics and other relevant fields.

• 2-4 year of work experience in Strategy/Consulting/Business Development/Finance/Project Management.

• Banking or Consulting experience preferred.

• Ability to work with changing priorities and adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment.

• Ability to analyze complex data and come up with insights and recommendations.

• Fluent in Myanmar and English (Both written and verbal professional proficiency).
