An Exciting Opportunity for ...

Purpose: The purpose of the Trainer role is to help Ooredoo Myanmar (OML) employees develop their skills and knowledge by designing and conducting informative and engaging training programs to meet organizational needs. The Trainer is also responsible for designing the training and development plan, working with departments across the organization to identify skill requirements and evaluating the outcome of training programs.

 

Responsibilities:

Plan and design training programs

  • Manage the annual training and development plan and calendar.
  • Develop training materials including manuals, multimedia visual aids and other educational materials.
  • Collaborate with respective departments to identify training needs and develop relevant training program.
  • Contribute ideas on training best practices for engaging learners and facilitating skills transfer.

Deliver training sessions

  • Translate training needs into engaging learning sessions delivered in a variety of formats.
  • Organize logistics for training delivery.
  • Facilitate training workshops, seminars and sessions, including classroom based, web-based and teleconference.
  • Support/guide the trainees by 24/7 to have smooth learning experience during the learning period.

Evaluate and report on training outcomes

  • Maintain and monitor employee training attendance records.
  • Generate and analyse training assessments and reports.
  • Evaluate training programs against employee performance and responses to training.

Vendor Management

  • Manage the vendors/external training providers to provide the most relevant courses to OML employees.
  • Analyse the needs/requirement of the employees and customize the course contents to be more in line with internal needs.

Stakeholder Management

  • Deal with the internal stakeholders to identify the training/knowledge needs of the internal functions and arrange internal knowledge sharing session/training if there is internal resource to provide.

Talent Development Improvement

  • Collect the feedback after every training to identify the areas for continuous improvement.
  • Report and discuss the result with Talent Development Manager to have better plans/strategies/arrangement for upcoming trainings.

Employee Self-assessment and IDP Support

  • Support and follow up employee’s self-assessment for talent review process.
  • Support and guide employees to develop strong IDP.
  • Audit employees’ IDPs to be in line with OML standards and follow up and guide to re-write up to standard if required.

လိုအပ္ေသာအရည္အခ်င္း

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, communications, business administration or similar field from a recognized university.
  • Advanced level Business English (written and verbal).
  • Minimuum 3 years’ experience in learning & development or training facilitation.
  • Exceptional public speaking skills.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing training programs including direct facilitation and delivery of training workshops, training facilitation methods and learning best practices.
  • Ability to effectively describe complex ideas to different audiences.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate HRIS platforms to gather data and perform simple HR analytics to identify insights.
  • Telecommunications experience is preferred but not mandatory.
