About the job

The Supply Chain Finance Accountant supports end-to-end supply chain financial controlling by ensuring accurate costing, inventory valuation, fixed asset tracking, and timely financial analysis. The role contributes to cost efficiency, working capital discipline, and strong financial governance across Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, and Operations, enabling data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

Costing & Inventory Controlling

• Support preparation and maintenance of standard product costs across SKUs.
• Analyze manufacturing variances (price, usage, yield) and explain deviations vs standard.
• Monitor inventory valuation, stock movements, and cost allocation across sites.
• Review stock adjustments, write-offs, slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
• Support period-end closing activities related to costing and inventory.

Fixed Assets & Capex Support

• Assist in maintaining accurate Fixed Assets Register (additions, transfers, disposals).
• Support monthly depreciation processes and reconciliation.
• Assist in Capex tracking, budget monitoring, and variance analysis.
• Support RFA / PRN processes by reviewing financial accuracy and documentation.

Budgeting, Reporting & Analysis

• Support supply chain budgeting and forecast processes.
• Perform actual vs budget analysis and prepare management reports.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support operational and business decisions.

Governance, Controls & Audit

• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
• Support internal and external audits related to inventory, costing, and fixed assets.
• Contribute to process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.

Educational & other requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in cost accounting, supply chain finance, manufacturing finance, or similar roles.
• Experience with ERP systems preferred.
• Strong Excel skills; Power BI knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• High attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Good understanding of manufacturing or supply chain finance.
• Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams (Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement).
• Problem-solving mindset with continuous improvement orientation.
• Integrity, accountability, and strong sense of ownership.
