Job Summary

An accountant will support the Senior Accountant and chief Accountant in managing the Accounting and Taxation function within the company. Monitor compliance to financial controls across our nationwide network of branches to ensure consistency of best practices, compliance, and accountability. Deputized for Senior Accountant during her absence.

Job Description

  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Monitor cash flow and manage accounts payable/receivable.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting B.Com/B.Act or relevant field
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as an Accountant or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
  • Proficient with accounting software and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently or as a team member
  • Outstanding written, good communication and interpersonal skills
