Overall Job Purpose
Manage and optimize all procurement sections including Gemstone, Diamond, Gold, Mounting, Purchasing, and Repair Orders while ensuring cost efficiency, quality control, and strong supplier performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Procurement Management
Oversee the full procurement process and ensure smooth operation of all sections.
Develop and implement procurement strategies and SOPs.
Ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing.
Manage urgent and high-value purchases.
2. Supplier & Vendor Management
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers.
Maintain strong relationships with vendors and monitor supplier performance.
Conduct vendor comparisons and price negotiations.
3. Gemstone Procurement
Purchase Ruby, Sapphire, Jade and other gemstones.
Ensure quality grading and authenticity verification.
Monitor gemstone market trends and pricing.
4. Diamond Procurement
Handle diamond sourcing based on 4Cs standards.
Verify certifications such as GIA and HRD.
Manage international suppliers and high-value transactions.
5. Gold Procurement
Monitor gold purity, market price changes, and bulk purchasing.
Implement loss control and cost management.
6. Mounting & Accessories Procurement
Coordinate with the design team for mounting requirements.
Manage vendor sourcing and lead time control.
Balance cost and quality for accessories.
7. Reporting & Team Leadership
Lead and supervise procurement teams.
Develop control systems and ensure compliance.
Prepare procurement reports and performance analysis.​​

Job Specification (JS)

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field. Gemology certification is preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in Procurement management experience. Experience in the Jewelry industry is preferred.
• Gemstone grading and authenticity detection.
• Diamond 4Cs and certification knowledge (GIA/HRD).
• Gold purity and market price analysis.
• Jewelry mounting and accessories sourcing.
• Procurement processes and documentation.
