This position is focused on the resolution of employee issues, staff satisfaction, creating and delivering people practices which develop - and maintain - positive working relationships between an organization and its people.

  • Offering counseling services to employees.
  • Provide guidance to manger on appropriate level of Disciplinary Actions to ensure adherence to policies/guidelines and consistent application.
  • Communicating policies pertaining to Human Resources, compensation and benefits.
  • Conducting exit interviews (Support in conducting exit interviews for departing employees to ensure that the valid reasons are captured through the process).
  • Liaising between employees and management.
  • Conduct Investigations into allegations of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, etc.,.
  • Arranging employee physical examinations.
  • Review all recommendations for Termination, conduct risk assessment and provide guidance to manager.
  • Assist in creating enforcing policies that are fair and consistent for everyone in the workplace.
  • Researches and explains laws and legal affairs concerning employment to managers, supervisors, and employees.
  • Contribute to the preparation and processing of all type of documents related to employee relations, including promotions, lateral transfers, downgrades, salary certificates and salary adjustments in compliance with approved guidelines and policies in a timely manner.
  • Ensure proper documentation of files related to employee relations like Memos, Directives etc. to retrieve them as needed.
  • Manage ER cases, monitor ER trends, analyze key metric, and recommend Proactive Measures.
  • Responsible to prevent conflicts, sexual harassment, bullying and other employee relations issues.
  • Assists with the identification and development of an employee relations database that will provide policy, performance, and compliance reports and metrics to improve the Employee Services function.
  • Advising the HR team in dealing with employee relations issues and maintaining good relations.
  • Overseeing all people practices to ensure they are legally compliant and HR practices are aligned with laws and guidelines.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the line manager.

  • At least 5 years working experience in HR field in Retail
  • Leadership experience would be plus
  • Demonstrated knowledge of employment law
  • English proficiency is necessary.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and good problem-solving ability.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
