ROLE PURPOSE 

 

The Point of Contact (POC) person is to serve as the operational coordination point within the Centralized Valuation Team between CVT Team Leads, External Assessors, CVT Case Owners, and Business Units/Branches, ensuring that each accepted valuation request is properly initiated, documented, assigned, coordinated for site inspection, monitored through completion, and handed over to the designated Case Owner.

The POC is responsible for workflow coordination, document readiness, assessor communication, case tracking, follow-up, and document repository management, while the valuation assessment, analysis, review, and final recommendation remain the responsibility of the assigned CVT Case Owner and relevant approving authorities.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Start the valuation workflow upon Team Lead acceptance of requests from Business Units/Branches and receive the assigned Case ID.. 

  • Create the Case ID folder and collect, organize, and maintain all required title and supporting documents for the valuation case. 

  • Submit the complete valuation package to the assigned External Assessor and coordinate site inspection arrangements with relevant stakeholders. 

  • Monitor all ongoing cases, track assessor assignment, site inspection, report status, TAT/SLA, and case aging through the CVT tracking register. 

  • Proactively follow up with individual External Assessors on pending site inspections and overdue reports, and escalate delays or issues to the Team Lead when required. 

  • Receive assessor reports, perform an administrative completeness check, and upload the reports and supporting documents into the relevant Case ID folder. 

  • Notify and hand over the complete case file to the assigned CVT Case Owner for valuation review and recommendation, and update the case status accordingly. 

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records, assessor communications, follow-up history, status updates, and handover records to ensure end-to-end traceability. 

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date valuation case records, assessor assignment records, SLA/TAT tracking, case aging, follow-up logs, report receipt records, and handover records in the designated CVT 

  • Maintain reliable operational data for SLA/TAT performance monitoring, pending/overdue case reporting, assessor performance tracking, workload monitoring, and CVT management reporting. 

  • Maintain records of approved external assessors and valuation reports. 

  • Assist in registry of transaction/listing data into internal database. 

  • Maintain External Assessor records, including contracts/agreements, engagement status, assignment history, Turnaround Time performance, responsiveness, case volume, and service issues.

Knowledge & Skills  

Essential  

  • Familiarity with credit risk and loan documentation is a plus 

  • Good reporting and analytical skills, attention to details 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Email, Excel, Word and Power Point) 

  • Understanding of Title Documents, Title Transfer processes, Government/ Regulator Policy and Guidelines 

  • Basic understanding of property valuation methods and market trends. 

  • Working knowledge of Myanmar’s property market and valuation methodologies, costing of buildings made of different materials. 

  • Analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. 

Desirable 

  • Strong integrity, professionalism, and ability to manage sensitive information confidentially. 

  • Proficiency in Data Analysis and database tools.

Education & Special Training  

Essential      

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Civil Engineering or related field. 

Desirable 

  • Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Real Estate, Legal.

Experience 

Essential 

  •     3 to 5 years of working experience with a minimum of 2 years of working experience in the Banking and Finance Industry perferably with Core Banking systems.

    Desirable 

  •     1 to 2 years of experience in property valuation, real estate market analysis, or a related field. 

Languages 

Essential  

  • Excellent communication in Burmese. 

  • Good English and Burmese writing skill.
