Main Duties and Responsibilities (အဓိကတာ၀န် နှင့် ၀တ္တရားများ)

• Achieve the annual income target assigned for Treasury/FX operations.
• Monitor daily fund positions and oversee treasury deals to maintain a balanced buying and selling position.
• The average rate of the closing fund position must be maintained at a minimum profit, ensuring it is lower than the current market rate.
• Provide the Online Trading Successful Outstanding List and follow up with dealers, customers, and exporters to ensure timely completion of purchase, sale, and forward buy transactions.
• Supervise and verify the accuracy of buying and selling rates and oversee FX transaction processing to ensure timely execution with minimal errors.
• Supervise and ensure that transactions comply with CBM and accounting standard rules and regulations.
• Process and record treasury transactions including FX deals, money market placements, borrowings, and investments in accordance with approved procedures.
• Perform deal confirmations and settlements with counterpart banks while maintaining accurate and timely documentation of treasury transactions, including confirmations, contracts, and correspondence.
• Assist in the daily settlement of treasury cash flows and ensure treasury deals and related entries are accurately updated in the core banking or treasury management system
• Support Nostro and internal account reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and report issues for resolution.
• Prepare basic treasury operational reports and provide data required for management and regulatory reporting.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure smooth execution of treasury activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, treasury policies, regulatory guidelines and responding to audit queries by providing required documents.
• Monitor pending items and follow up with counterparties to ensure timely closure.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling high‑value and sensitive transactions.
• Perform other treasury back‑office duties as assigned.

Job Specification

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Banking, or related field.
• Minimum (5) years of working experience in Foreign Exchange (FX), Treasury, Banking Operations, or related financial services field.
• Strong knowledge of Foreign Exchange trading, fund management, and treasury operations.
• Good understanding of CBM (Central Bank of Myanmar) rules, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Experience in supervising buying and selling transactions, exchange rates, and daily fund position management.
• Ability to monitor market trends and make timely decisions to maintain profitability and minimize risks.
• Hands-on experience in settlement, reconciliation, treasury accounting, and reporting
• Prior exposure to interbank transactions, FX, money market instruments, and investments preferred
• Working knowledge of treasury systems, core banking systems, or TMS
• Sound understanding of IFRS, regulatory reporting, and internal control requirements
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and data analysis/reporting tools
• Good command of English and Myanmar language (both written and spoken).
