Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to oversee financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and support business decisions for a trading company in Yangon. The role requires strong leadership, compliance, and hands-on accounting expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, cash flow, and reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with Myanmar tax regulations, audit requirements, and internal controls.
• Supervise and guide accounting staff to maintain timely, accurate, and efficient processes.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, banks, and other business partners.
• Monitor budgets, expenses, and financial performance to support management decisions.
• Review vouchers, journal entries, and supporting documents for correctness and approval.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA/ACCA preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and audit processes in Myanmar.
• Experience in trading, distribution, or import/export business is an advantage.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; ERP experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate across departments and external partners.
