 Job Summary

• The Chief Accountant is responsible for systematically leading and managing the company’s Finance & Accounting Department, as well as preparing and presenting accurate financial reports. This role involves the effective management of Cash Flow, Budget Planning, Production Costs, Inventory Control, Tax Compliance, and Internal Financial Controls. The ideal candidate must be capable of presenting deep financial analysis and providing strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors (BOD) for cost optimization and profitability growth. By leading the Finance & Accounts Team, the Chief Accountant will actively support the company’s long-term financial stability and business development.

• 2. Key Responsibilities
• A. Financial Reporting
• Prepare and submit Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Financial Reports in a timely manner.
• Responsibly prepare and present the Profit & Loss (P&L) Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Reports.
• B. Budget & Cash Flow Management
• Manage and oversee Budget Planning and Cash Flow Management.
• Monitor company expenses closely and implement effective cost control measures.
• C. Production Cost & Inventory Control
• Audit and analyze Production Costs, Raw Material Costs, and Inventory Costs.
• Collaborate with the Warehouse Team to inspect and verify Raw Materials, Finished Goods, and Packaging Inventory.
• Conduct thorough Production Cost Analysis and provide strategic recommendations for cost savings.
• D. Tax & Compliance
• Ensure all tax matters, including Commercial Tax and Corporate Income Tax, are handled in strict compliance with prevailing laws.
• Cooperate and coordinate effectively with both Internal Audit and External Audit processes.
• E. Financial Control
• Manage and systematically execute Bank Reconciliation, Cash Management, and Fund Control.
• Maintain and improve Internal Control Systems to mitigate and minimize financial risks.
• F. Team Management
• Lead, supervise, and effectively delegate tasks within the Finance & Accounts Team.
• Provide necessary training and coaching to elevate overall team performance.
• G. Management Reporting
• Prepare and present comprehensive Financial Analysis Reports directly to the Board of Directors (BOD).
• Carry out other related duties and special assignments as requested by the BOD.

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting (B.Act), Business Administration (BBA in Accounting & Finance), or any related degree in Finance and Accounting.

• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, LCCI Level III, or a Diploma in Accounting will be given strong priority.

Professional Experience

• Minimum of 5 years or above of working experience as a Chief Accountant or Senior Accountant.

• Experience in the Manufacturing or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry is highly preferred.

• Proven experience in Cost Accounting, Inventory Control, and Financial Reporting.

  Technical & Soft Skills

• Advanced Level proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Hands-on experience with Accounting Software / ERP systems (e.g., Odoo, SAP, QuickBooks, MYOB, or equivalent systems

• Deep understanding of Myanmar Tax Law and relevant Accounting Rules & Regulations.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Production Costing and Cost Analysis.
