1. Lead technical inputs during project feasibility studies, concept design, and development
2. Define optimal configuration (power distribution, power transmission, solar, hydro, coal, gas, etc.)
3. Support PPA negotiations with technical inputs (capacity, availability, heat rate, etc.)
4. Evaluate EPC proposals (technical compliance, design adequacy, risks)
5. Oversee the engineering design reviews, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site construction and installation and Commissioning and performance testing
6. Ensure compliance with contractual guarantees (efficiency, output, availability)
7. Establish O&M (in-house vs outsourced)
8. Monitor plant performance such as Heat rate, Availability / capacity factor, Auxiliary consumption
9. Optimize: Maintenance schedules, Spare parts strategy and Lifecycle cost
10. Support troubleshooting of major technical issues
11. Manage Technical Risk such as Design risks, Construction risks, Operational risks, Local regulations (Myanmar), International standards (IEC, ASME, etc.)
12. Conduct external consultants, Owner’s Engineers, and contractors
13. Stakeholder & Regulatory Coordination (Government authorities, technical advisors, EPC contractors, OEMs and Support environmental and social compliance

Team Leadership & Capability Building

1. Build and lead the engineering team
2. Manage external consultants, Owner’s Engineers, and contractors
3. Establish engineering standards, templates, and documentation systems
4. Mentor junior engineers and develop internal technical capability

1. B.E (EP) or Master Level is preferred
2. Strong academic background in Power Systems or Renewable Energy Technologies, Grid integration and transmission systems
3. Over 10 years of experience in the engineering field, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or management role.
4. Proven track record of managing large-scale renewable energy projects (Solar plants, Hydropower, or Wind Energy)
5. Extensive experience in Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and asset management of power assets.
6. Ability to lead technical design reviews, feasibility studies, and engineering calculations for renewable projects.
7. Familiar with: EPC contracting structure, Performance guarantees and liquidated damages
8. Ability to review detailed engineering drawings and calculations
9. Proficiency in manpower planning, resource allocation, and budget management for the engineering department.
10. Excellent command of English and Burmese with the ability to present reports to the Board of Directors and external stakeholders.
11. Willing to Travel in Local or Oversea
