Job Summary
GIC is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Content Creator & Writer to join our Marketing Team.
This role is ideal for a junior to mid-level candidate who enjoys storytelling, photography, social media, and content creation. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging content that showcases student achievements, school events, academic programs, and the GIC brand.
We are looking for someone with basic experience and strong potential. Training and professional development will be provided for the right candidate
Content Writing
• Write engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, websites, newsletters, brochures, and promotional materials.
• Create student success stories, testimonials, event highlights, and educational articles.
• Prepare content for admissions campaigns, scholarship promotions, and institutional branding.
• Write captions, short-form content, and marketing messages that align with GIC’s brand voice.
Photography & Event Coverage
• Attend school events, graduations, education fairs, seminars, workshops, and student activities.
• Capture high-quality photos and short videos using a smartphone or camera.
• Collect photos, quotes, and information for content creation.
• Support live event coverage and social media updates when required.
Photo & Basic Video Editing
• Edit photos using Canva, Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar software.
• Create simple marketing graphics and social media posts.
• Edit short-form videos and reels using CapCut or similar tools.
• Ensure all visual content follows GIC branding guidelines.
Social Media Support
• Assist in planning and scheduling social media content.
• Generate creative content ideas and campaign concepts.
• Support Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.
• Monitor content performance and suggest improvements.
Student & Parent Storytelling
• Interview students, parents, teachers, alumni, and partners.
• Develop inspiring success stories and testimonials.
• Gather content that highlights student achievements and university admissions outcomes.
• Help build GIC’s authority and reputation through authentic storytelling.
Collaboration
• Work closely with Marketing, Admissions, Academic, and Student Affairs teams.
• Coordinate with graphic designers, photographers, videographers, and external vendors when necessary.
• Support special projects and marketing campaigns assigned by management.
