Employment Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Marketing Executive & Management
Works Closely With: Marketing, Commercial, Local Partnership & Student Service Teams
Salary: MMK 600,000–800,000 per month

Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with flexibility for events, weekend work and business travel.
About the Role
Elevate Education is looking for an energetic, highly organized and execution-focused Event & Outreach Officer who can take ownership of events from planning through completion.
This is not simply an event-assistant position. The successful candidate must be able to independently coordinate events, work across internal teams and external vendors, solve problems on the ground and take charge of operational execution.
The role covers education fairs, seminars, school activities, student events, webinars/live events, mall activations, outreach campaigns, partner activities and company events.
Success is measured not only by whether an event is well organized, but also by attendance, lead generation, cost awareness and successful execution.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning & Execution
- Take operational ownership of assigned events from initial planning through post-event completion.
- Develop event plans, timelines, checklists and run sheets.
- Research and source suitable venues, vendors and suppliers.
- Request and compare quotations and coordinate approved bookings.
- Coordinate venue arrangements, AV, equipment, furniture, food, hospitality and other operational requirements.
- Coordinate banners, backdrops, registration materials, gifts and promotional items with relevant teams.
- Plan registration processes, attendee flow, setup and teardown.
- Conduct pre-event readiness checks and coordinate event-day responsibilities.
- Manage on-site operations, timing and event flow.
- Respond quickly to unexpected operational issues and escalate major problems appropriately.
- Complete post-event follow-up and reporting.
- The Officer should be capable of taking an assigned event and driving it from plan to successful execution without constant reminders or supervision.
- Attendance, Registration & Lead Generation
- Establish registration and attendance targets with relevant teams.
- Monitor registrations and expected attendance before events.
- Work closely with Marketing, Commercial and Local Partnership teams to increase registrations.
- Identify low registration early and proactively recommend additional promotional or outreach actions.
- Follow up internally to ensure agreed actions are implemented.
- Monitor expected versus actual attendance and help reduce avoidable no-shows.
- Ensure attendee and prospective-student information is captured accurately.
- Consolidate event leads and clearly identify their event/source.
- Transfer complete and organized lead data promptly to the Commercial Team.
- The Officer owns event lead capture and proper handover. The Commercial Team owns counseling, follow-up and conversion after handover.
Outreach Activities
- Research opportunities to reach prospective students outside Elevate’s normal digital channels.
- Identify and develop mall activations, education booths, exhibitions, school/community activities, youth events, partner activities and other relevant outreach opportunities.
- Contact malls, venues, schools, organizations and potential partners when necessary.
- Obtain information, requirements and quotations and coordinate internal approvals.
- Plan and execute approved outreach activities.
- Evaluate results based on attendance, leads, cost and other relevant outcomes.
School & Organization Outreach
- Approach schools or organizations for specific event/outreach opportunities when required.
- Propose seminars, information sessions, booths or other approved activities.
- Coordinate dates, logistics and operational requirements.
- Coordinate with the Local Partnership Team to avoid duplicated or conflicting communication.
- Maintain professional communication with external organizations.
- This responsibility supports event execution and does not replace the Local Partnership Team’s ownership of long-term school partnerships.
Event-Day Leadership
- Conduct pre-event briefings and clearly communicate event run sheets.
- Coordinate registration, guest reception, speakers, AV, materials and other event functions.
- Make sure participating employees understand their event-day responsibilities.
- Monitor timing, attendee flow and operational readiness.
- Make practical decisions when problems arise and maintain professionalism under pressure.
- Take operational leadership when required rather than waiting for Management to solve every issue.
University, Guest & Online Event Coordination
- Coordinate university representatives, speakers, guests and partners for assigned events.
- Confirm schedules, arrival details and operational requirements.
- Coordinate transportation or hospitality where applicable.
- Prepare presentation schedules and speaker sequences.
- Provide appropriate on-site support.
- Support webinars, livestreams and hybrid events, including registration, run sheets, technical coordination and lead capture.
Vendor, Venue & Logistics Management
- Research and compare vendors and venues based on quality, suitability and cost.
- Coordinate approved bookings and confirm arrangements before events.
- Monitor supplier performance and delivered services/materials.
- Follow company approval and financial procedures and avoid unauthorized financial commitments.
- Prepare equipment and material checklists.
- Coordinate transportation of event materials.
- Track reusable company assets and ensure they are returned and stored appropriately after events.
- Report damaged, missing or replacement items.
Post-Event Reporting & Improvement
- Record registrations, attendance and lead numbers.
- Compare actual results against targets.
- Record operational issues and relevant feedback.
- Prepare basic post-event reports for the Marketing Executive and Management.
- Recommend practical improvements for future events.
- Where appropriate, performance should be evaluated through:
- Registrations → Attendance → Leads → Cost → Commercial Results
Cross-Team Coordination
- Work closely with Marketing, Commercial, Local Partnership, Student Service, Finance, Administration/Facilities and Management.
- Clearly communicate responsibilities, deadlines and requirements.
- Follow up proactively to ensure assigned actions are completed.
Travel & Flexible Working
- Frequent domestic business travel is an important part of this role. Events and outreach activities may take place in Yangon, Mandalay, Taunggyi, Naypyitaw, Mawlamyine and other locations across Myanmar.
- Business trips may require staying outside Yangon for several days. Weekend work, early starts, evening events and occasional public-holiday activities are normal requirements when events are scheduled.
- Replacement leave/time off after eligible event work may be arranged according to company policy and Management approval.
- Candidates who are unable or unwilling to travel frequently or participate in weekend events should not apply.
Key Performance Expectations
Performance may be assessed based on:
- Event attendance against target
- Number and quality of leads generated
- Registration-to-attendance performance
- Successful and timely event execution
- Accuracy of attendee/lead records and handover
- Event preparation and readiness
- Budget and cost control
- Vendor and venue coordination
- Quality of outreach activities
- Cross-team coordination
- Post-event reporting
- Problem-solving, reliability and ownership
Additional Responsibilities - Support improvements to event systems, SOPs and checklists.
- Maintain organized event records and documentation.
- Research new event formats and outreach opportunities.
- Support major company campaigns and activities.
- Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Marketing Executive, Department Head or Management.
