A Big Opportunity for ...

  • Act as the ultimate technical authority, establishing unified M&E standards, preventative maintenance schedules, and operational policies across all properties.
  • Direct, evaluate, and supervise the work of the resident Chief Engineers at each hotel, ensuring they lead their respective on-site teams effectively.
  • Oversee major renovations, technical upgrades, and infrastructure replacements across the group.
  • Review and approve engineering budgets, lifecycle costs, and energy conservation programs for all properties.
  • Provide intensive technical leadership for the Yangon property, ensuring seamless M&E functionality across the hotel, commercial office spaces, and retail shops.
  • Supervise complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and HVAC systems to fulfill service level agreements (SLAs) for commercial tenants and shoppers.
  • Conduct regular, structured travel to the two hotels in Nay Pyi Taw to audit equipment performance, safety systems, and infrastructure health.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting, ensure compliance with group operational standards, and review local maintenance logs.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of progressive engineering management experience in hospitality or commercial sector.
  • Deep expertise in centralized HVAC, chillers, high-voltage electrical distribution, water treatment plants, firefighting systems, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
  • Proven experience managing M&E for commercial retail and office spaces alongside hotel operations is highly advantageous.
  • Exceptional leadership, mentoring, and conflict-resolution skills to effectively manage high-level engineering professionals.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel regularly between Yangon and Nay Pyi Taw.
