Key Responsibilities:
1. Contribute to marketing effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; providing information, recommending options and implementing directives.
2. Responsible for developing the required operational process SOP’s aligning and showing the key communication required with other departments in the organization and discussing with COO and implementing the SOPs.
3. Provide short- and long-term market forecasts and report to COO by directing market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data.
4. Maintain research database by identifying and assembling marketing information.
5. Develop and monitor marketing budget including expenditures and return on investment for key activities.
6. Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
7. Discuss all major financial or departmental related matters with COO prior to implementation.
8. Review the UTC redemption tracker, Cash Envelope tracker and other promotional campaigns from LMBU & UMBU Finance departments.
9. Review and check the trade discount scheme and other consumer promotion activities and report to COO. (UTC, Cash Envelope, MOFT promotion and other events/activations).
10. Make sure to have the weekly/ monthly meeting along with the marketing team and listen to the team about the feedback/ issues in the market.
11. Review and evaluate all monthly reports from all respective Managers (Brand, Trade, Executional Excellence & Administration).
12. Ensure to visit in the market as per the instruction of the Management/ as per the SOPs and prepare the market visit report including the feedback, issues, any other observations and discuss with the Management. (2 times per month for all operational channels)
13. Attend and lead for both internal and external management meetings or suppliers meetings for any business purposes.
14. Involve for any meeting with sales team for all marketing activities or initiative projects.
15. Check and review the Warehouse POSM inventory level and take action plans for any unnecessary stocks if any. Need to visit WH once a month before FN auditing by end of month.
16. Check for any POSM production and report to COO along with the quotations, product samples, timeline & prices, then get the approval.
17. Design and set up the departmental manpower needs and overall organizational structure.
18. Complete marketing department operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results and assigned tasks.
19. Maintain marketing employees’ job results by counselling and disciplining; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
20. Attend Sales & Marketing review meeting as quarterly basis and take the corrective actions with team for any issues.
21. Check and approve all the approval memos from all respective Managers (Brand, Trade, Executional Excellence & Administration).
22. Coordinate with other respective departments for any departmental or operational issues.
23. Ensure compliance with all Company procedures and governmental regulations.
