British United College (BUC) is inviting applications for teaching positions for Bsc (Hons) in Computer Science Programme.

(1) Lecturer / Module Tutor – Deep Learning

Key Areas:

• Neural networks, model architectures, training and optimisation

• Expertise in Deep Learning Frameworks such as PyTorch / Keras or similar frameworks

• Performance evaluation, interpretability, bias, and ethical issues

(2) Lecturer / Module Tutor – Enterprise Software Engineering

Key Areas:

• Software engineering lifecycles and development methodologies

• Software architecture patterns and enterprise systems

• Integrating diverse development tools and techniques to create sophisticated, real-world enterprise systems

• Secure coding practices: SQL injection prevention, XSS, CSRF, and secure API development

• Testing and Quality Assurance

(3) Lecturer / Module Tutor – Robotics

Key Areas:

• Control architectures

• Kinematics and Locomotion

• Localisation, Odometry, Filtering Theory, Landmark-based Recognition, SLAM

• Planning and Navigation

• Autonomous robotic systems

• Ethical, legal, and societal issues in robotics

(1) Lecturer / Module Tutor – Deep Learning

Preferred Requirements:

• PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree holders with strong AI industry and/or teaching experience may also be considered

• Experience in practical lab-based teaching and project supervision is an advantage

(2) Lecturer / Module Tutor – Enterprise Software Engineering

Preferred Requirements:

• PhD or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree holders with strong software industry and/or teaching experience may also be considered

• Experience in enterprise application development and practical project supervision is an advantage

(3) Lecturer / Module Tutor – Robotics

Preferred Requirements:

• PhD or Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree holders with strong robotics / automation industry and/or teaching experience may also be considered

• Experience with practical workshops, simulation, or physical robotic systems is an advantage
