  1. Organizing promotional events and coordinating day-of deliveries and staffing.
  2. Leading and training teams of Marketing Associates.
  3. Reviewing current marketing campaigns for weaknesses and developing solutions within budget constraints.
  4. Analyzing website click-to-purchase conversion rates and the effectiveness of promotions to determine what drives sales.
  5. Identifying potential new markets and creating a plan to enter those markets.
  6. Partnering with product development and buying teams to estimate product demand.
  7. Brainstorming fresh advertising ideas with senior management.
  8. Working with the executive team, such as the marketing director or managing director, to set the marketing strategy for the business.
  9. Hiring and managing the performance of a more junior marketing team that can also include PR and creative staff.
  10. Researching and analyzing market trends and competitors.
  11. Negotiating and liaising with third-party marketing agencies.
  12. Writing and delivering content and social media plans.
  13. Managing the design and production of promotional materials, such as websites and brochures.
  14. Overseeing the company’s attendance at events, such as trade shows, conferences, and festivals.
