Position Purpose

To strengthen digital payment roadmap of Wave Money by on-boarding QR Merchants across Myanmar.

 

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Identify Shops / business to on-board as Wave Pay QR Merchants. 
  • Generate leads for potential QR merchants. 
  • Build relationships and educate shop owners / Business on benefit of being Wave Pay QR Merchants and benefits of cashless society. 
  • Meet Shop/Business owners for document collection for on-boarding. 
  • Follow up with internal stakeholders to fast track the onboarding. 
  • Train shop/business owners on how to use Wave Pay QR productive inclusively and properly, including compliance and safety contents. 
  • Support to the Merchants with QR marketing materials
  • Closely work together with regional distribution teams for identifying and onboarding merchants 
  • Act as a focal person for post on-boarding to resolve any issues and provide necessary service.
  • Track and monitor the CSEs regarding with their market visit plan and suggest innovative and counter strategies.
  • Provide direction to CSEs, design the route plans and monitor adherence.
  • Understand timely communication of trade schemes and ensure to communicate it to CSEs and Merchants.
  • Drive the team to achieve sales targets.
  • Organize and lead the daily gate meeting with the team to brief and review the achievements
  • Support trade marketing team for customers engagement activities, and merchant events etc. 
  • Other ac-hoc duties

Experience, Functional Skills and Knowledge Areas

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent 
  • 2+ years relevant sales and marketing experiences in Distribution, FMCG, Telecommunications, Financial Services or Retail Business. 
  • Must be able to prepare sales reports in Microsoft Excel and other reports in Microsoft PowerPoint in English 
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Proficiency Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and E-mail, etc) 
  • Fluency in English is an advantage
