Position Title: Network Engineer

Overview

A Network Engineer for designing, deploying, and supporting network solutions for multiple clients across diverse industries. The role involves assessing customer requirements, preparing technical designs, configuring and implementing routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless solutions, and ensuring smooth integration with existing IT environments.

In addition to deployment, the Network Engineer provides post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. They collaborate with project managers, solution architects, and vendors to deliver projects on time and within scope while maintaining industry’s best practices and security standards.
 

Key Responsibilities:

· Support day-to-day operations, deployment, configure, and maintain network infrastructure environments.

· Monitor, diagnose, and resolve complex network and computer network issues.

· Deliver network solutions for customer projects remotely and on-site, perform network upgrades, backups, patching, and monitoring.

· To make suitable solutions, troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues, LAN and WAN issues, document configurations, processes, and maintain technical documentation.

· Provide solutions to complex problems with the integration of various technologies.

· Design plans as well as lead initiatives for the optimization and restructuring of network architecture.

· Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure successful service delivery.

· Collaborate with IT handlers, sales, and data center managers to develop an action plan for improved operations.


Required Qualifications:

· Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs).

· Strong understanding of network technologies and routing protocols (CCNA or higher).

· Firewall expertise is a must: FortiGate and Palo Alto required.

· Solid understanding of VPN technologies with strong troubleshooting skills.

· Good problem-solving and communication skills to work effectively with internal cross-departments and customers.

· Ability to manage time and tasks across multiple ongoing projects.
