ROLE PURPOSE  

The role holder is responsible for assisting and preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports to regulatory bodies and preparing official letters to Regulators by ensuring timely reporting. Processing CBM FxDIS reporting and other duties as assigned by superiors.  

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Review and monitor daily incoming and outgoing transactions of IB and Trade Operations by understanding the compliance of regulatory requirement by Central Bank of Myanmar (CBM) and SOP of IB and Trade Operations.  

• Prepare official letters to Regulatory Bodies and track the timely submission of reports to CBM.  

• List and register all the incoming instructions from CBM and all the outgoing letters to CBM.  

• Track the pending letters that are yet to receive approval from CBM.  

• To understand the changes and updates in instructions, directives issued by CBM and imply the changes in daily BAUs. 

• Process and monitor AML check and Sanction Screening.  

• Check and submit daily FIU reports to Compliance Division.  

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports to CBM and prepare ad-hoc basic reports to CBM as required in a timely manner with accuracy.  

• Check and verify the accuracy of reports recorded in CBM reporting software FxDIS. 

• Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.   

• Guide and assist, if needed, junior members in performing their tasks to ensure consistent understanding and ability to perform tasks. 

• Flexible and available for a regular work and non-regular work (evenings and weekends) schedule as needed.  

• Completion of tertiary qualifications in a business or related field such as Bacher of Business, Management, Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Economics and/or Industry specific qualifications. 
• 3 years of working experience in International Banking and Trade Operations 

• Understand the compliance of regulatory requirements by CBM to review and monitor daily incoming and outgoing transactions. 

• Communication with Regulatory Bodies as needed. 

• Excellent competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.  

• Team player with good interpersonal skills and integrity.

• Undertake other duties as assigned from time to time.
