The Senior Project Coordinator is responsible for managing customer service-focused projects from planning to completion. This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget, ultimately aiming to improve customer experience and operational efficiency. Strong project management skills, knowledge of banking customer service, and excellent communication are crucial for success in this position.

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, and develop detailed project plans including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets. 
  • Identify and analyze project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and obtain necessary approvals to ensure project alignment with organizational goals.
  • Lead and coordinate project teams, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities, while meticulously tracking project progress, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project budgets and resource utilization, proactively identifying and resolving issues, and escalating risks through regular status updates to stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate project plans, progress, and issues effectively and proactively to manage expectations and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Apply a strong understanding of customer service principles, processes, and technologies within the banking sector, ensuring projects consider and enhance the customer experience.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of customer service best practices while adhering to relevant banking regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within customer service through project initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new tools, systems, and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, meeting minutes, risk logs, and status reports.
  • Prepare and present project reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior project team members, fostering their project management skills.
  • Share best practices and contribute to the development of project management methodologies within the department.

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Candidates must possess proven experience (typically 5+ years) in project coordination or project management, ideally within the banking or financial services sector.
  • A strong understanding of customer service operations, principles, and technologies relevant to banking is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize effectively is necessary.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, are crucial.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with good command of English in both written and spoken
  • Positive thinking, strong initiative, result-oriented and willing to embrace challenges;
  • Proficiency in PC applications in MS Office
  • Be able to work under pressure and tight timeline
  • Result oriented
