The Operations Risk Business Partner is responsible for implementing and operationalizing the bank's operational risk strategy within assigned Business Units and Functions. Reporting directly to the Deputy Head of Operations Risk, this role acts as a dedicated risk advisory partner to facilitate day-to-day Operational Risk Management (ORM) initiatives, protect bank’s assets and foster a proactive risk-aware culture across the frontline.
Operational Execution: Execute and implement core Operations Risk Management framework initiatives, including but not limited to Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), Scenario Analysis, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) within assigned business areas. Ensure standard methodologies are consistently applied to day-to-day functional activities.
New Product & Change Risk: Conduct operational risk reviews and control evaluations for proposed new products, services, system implementations, and operational process restructures prior to launch.
Cross-Functional Advisory: Serve as a dedicated risk advisory partner to assigned Business Units and Functions to proactively identify operational risks and control gaps, and provide actionable recommendations.
Reporting: Prepare clear and concise operational risk profiles, status reports, and dashboards for assigned units to assist the Deputy Head and Head of Operations Risk in their reporting to Executive Management and the Board Risk Committee.
Crisis Resilience: Support the Business Units and Functions in building robust operational resilience and contingency plans against critical business disruptions.
Risk Awareness: Support the delivery of tailored operational risk training sessions to assigned Business Units to strengthen frontline defense and promote a bank-wide risk-aware culture.
