About the Role
Elevate Education is looking for an experienced, mature and leadership-driven People Operations Executive to lead and strengthen our People function as the company continues to grow.
This is not a traditional HR/Admin position. The role will take ownership of the employee lifecycle, performance management, employee development, engagement, retention, people data, workforce planning and employee relations.
You will also lead the Talent Acquisition Executive and Administration & Facilities Executive, while remaining hands-on with key People Operations responsibilities and providing professional People advice to Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and strengthen the company’s People Operations function.
- Supervise, coach and manage the Talent Acquisition and Administration & Facilities teams.
- Own onboarding, probation and employee lifecycle processes.
- Maintain and improve company-wide performance management and KPI systems.
- Coordinate performance reviews, PIPs and manager accountability.
- Monitor employee engagement, retention and workplace concerns.
- Lead Learning & Development, training plans and employee development initiatives.
- Handle employee relations, workplace conflicts, disciplinary matters and related documentation professionally and confidentially.
- Coordinate salary reviews, promotions and career-development processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS and People data.
- Prepare monthly People reports and dashboards for Management.
- Support workforce planning, headcount planning and organizational development.
- Oversee attendance, leave administration and employee-related payroll inputs.
- Maintain employment contracts, People policies, employee handbook and HR documentation.
- Coordinate offboarding, exit interviews and turnover analysis.
- Support consistent People Operations across company branches, including occasional travel to Mandalay and other locations when required.
- Identify People risks and provide practical recommendations to Management.
- Continuously improve HR processes, SOPs, systems and employee experience.
- Support company-wide initiatives and other reasonable People responsibilities assigned by Management.
People Leadership
The successful candidate should be able to build systems, develop people, hold managers accountable and provide professional recommendations, rather than simply process HR paperwork.
You will be expected to balance employee experience, business performance, company policies and operational requirements while maintaining fairness, confidentiality and professional judgment.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Performance will be evaluated based on:
- People Operations Effectiveness – Smooth and timely execution of core employee lifecycle processes.
- Performance Management – Completion and quality of performance reviews, KPIs and improvement processes.
- Employee Engagement & Retention – Effective identification and management of engagement and retention risks.
- HR Data & Reporting – Accuracy and timely delivery of employee records, HRIS and People dashboards.
- Learning & Development – Training execution, participation and employee-development initiatives.
- Employee Relations – Professional, fair and timely handling of employee matters.
- Workforce Planning – Accurate headcount tracking and support for manpower planning.
- Team Leadership – Performance and development of the Talent Acquisition and Administration & Facilities teams.
- Policy & Process Compliance – Consistent implementation of People policies and procedures.
- Process Improvement – Implementation of practical improvements that strengthen People Operations.
- Management Support – Quality, accuracy and practicality of People-related recommendations.
- Branch Support – Consistent People Operations standards across company locations.
Working Hours
Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Reasonable flexibility may occasionally be required for urgent employee matters, recruitment, company activities, branch visits, business travel or other important operational requirements.
Salary
MMK 800,000 – 1,000,000 per month
Final salary will depend on relevant experience, leadership capability, professional judgment and overall suitability.
