  • Assist in managing group purchasing and support activities of the Purchasing Department
  • Responsible for end-to-end procurement according to the purchasing guidelines.
  • Manage the turnaround time for inventory.
  • Handling the Purchase Order Management.
  • Establish inventory control and stock take activities
  • Continuously determine potential suppliers and review existing suppliers to keep a pool of competent suppliers.
  • Order high quality materials and products for the company and coordinate with the suppliers.
  • Build positive relationships with the suppliers and maintain negotiation strategies for obtaining the best deal.
  • Collaborate with suppliers on delivery schedules, quality concerns, component specs, and certification needs.
  • Oversee project costs, inventory turnaround times, and purchase order management.
  • Collaborate with other teams to achieve project cost reductions and timely delivery.
  • Adhere to procurement policies and processes both internal and external.
  • Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating, and liaising with vendors)
  • Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned

  • 3 - 5 Years of Experience in Purchasing
  • Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer, Purchasing executive or similar role
  • Able to review Bill of Material (BOM).
  • Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses
  • Knowledge of market research
  • Experience in import and export of materials and machineries is required
  • Mechanical Engineering background would be advantage.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
