Ensure the product quality is maintained by prevent risk of microbiological contamination following the Company’s policy on Quality, Health and Food Safety.

  • Practices the company’s policies on health and safety, food safety and hygiene.
  • Perform microbiological testing and ensure that all samples are tested and completed on time according Carlberg Operational Manual (COM) using the appropriate sampling procedures, test methods and good laboratory practices.
  • Ensure proper reporting of results and maintenance of records.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of microbiological techniques and test methods.
  • Operate, maintain and trouble-shoot laboratory equipment.
  • Notify the appropriate department/supervisor/Manager of any “out-of-spec” or erroneous results, of retests or other issues or problems with samples and analyses
  • identifying and reporting any quality issues and ensure corrective or preventative actions are carried out and completed to the root cause of the issue.
  • Support colleagues with chemical analysis if required

  • B. Sc. Ind. Chem/B. Eng’g, Chemical with 2-3 years of experience from Food industries
  • Understanding of microbiology in food industry
  • Preferably having work experiences in microbiological analysis
  • Able to work shift rotation
