About the Role

We are hiring two Regional Sales & Marketing Heads to lead and grow our business across Upper Myanmar and Lower Myanmar respectively. Each role will have full ownership of sales performance, market expansion, and team leadership within the assigned region. The role is responsible for driving regional strategy execution, strengthening dealer and farmer engagement, and expanding market share year on year. Working closely with internal stakeholders, the Regional Head will translate company objectives into effective field execution while building a high-performing regional team. This is a senior commercial leadership role with direct impact on regional growth and long-term market presence.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute regional sales and marketing strategies to enhance product branding and market visibility

  • Lead, train, and guide the Sales & Marketing team in market intelligence gathering, competitor analysis, and relationship management with farmers, dealers, and retailers

  • Supervise team performance to ensure timely, accurate, and effective execution of plans

  • Strengthen coordination and connectivity between internal departments and other SBUs

  • Build team capability through coaching, performance feedback, and skills development

  • Drive year-on-year revenue growth within the assigned regions

  • Set KPIs for team members, monitor performance, and address capability gaps while maximizing individual strengths

  • Play a lead role in managing relationships with internal stakeholders, business partners, dealers, farmers, and other external parties

  • Support regional expansion initiatives and new product rollouts as required

 

Job Overview

  • Working Hour: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Working Day: Monday to Saturday

  • Holiday: Sunday and Gazette Holidays

  • Report To: Head of Sales & Marketing, dotted line to General Manager

  • Work Location for Lower Myanmar: GBS Head Office, Hlaing Township, Yangon

  • Work Location for Upper Myanmar: Amarapura Township, Mandalay

  • Education: Mandatory of Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Science (B.Agr.Sc)

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in sales and marketing within agrochemicals, fertilizers, seeds, or related agricultural industries

    • Minimum 4 years of supervisory role for the whole regions: Upper Myanmar or Lower Myanmar

    • Prior experience managing regional sales teams and dealer networks

  • Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of Myanmar’s agricultural market, farmer engagement models, and dealer-based distribution

  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams, set KPIs, and drive performance

  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage farmers, dealers, and internal stakeholders

  • Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently within assigned regions
