Responsible for leading the overall performance and environment of new Centre openings. This position directs the Centre Expansion Team in achieving strategic goals and establishing the foundation necessary for each new Centre to be open and execute successful.

Planning

  • Expansion Planning: Prepare and support long-term and short-term Centre expansion and budget plans, including ad-hoc strategies based on Senior Management direction, location data, and demographics.
  • Business Cases: Prepare and support robust business cases for expansion, incorporating detailed feasibility studies and ROI analysis.
  • Research & Analysis: Conduct specialized studies related to projects and strategic topics as directed by senior leadership.
  • Executive Support: Assist the Expansion Lead in preparing expansion plans, collecting expenses for budget approvals, and delivering daily progress reports.

Operations & Asset Management

  • Site & Lease Management: Identify and evaluate potential sites for new Centres. Proactively monitor lease agreements 12 months prior to expiry to ensure timely renewals or site replacements (minimum 4 months before expiration).
  • Asset Oversight: Oversee the maintenance of physical assets, including renovations and utilities. Ensure all asset management costs are accurately budgeted and monitored.
  • Cost Control: Collecting cost data, propose and implement cost-control initiatives across all Centres to optimize operational spending.
  • Project Execution: Conduct local business travel for site visits and the operational setup of new Centre launches.
  • Coordination & Leadership

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for New Centres, coordinating with departments (Branch Operations, Property, Engineering, ICT, etc.) to execute expansion projects.
  • Team Development: Train new team members on all aspects of delivering the "Centre Operating Experience" to maintain brand standards.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate with leadership to ensure all expansion activities and seasonal activities remain aligned with company objectives.

  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously with strict deadlines.
  • Ability to interpret demographic data and market trends to make site-selection recommendations.
