Job Overview

Regional Security Manager is responsible for delivering the services as per SOP for the assigned sites.

Responsibilities and Authorities

Mobilization

• Suggest good internal candidates for new projects
• Request and make sure equipment is delivered on time and as per mobilization plan
• Review Site-Specific security SOPs and train the team prior to mobilization
• Introduce the team to Client Points of Contact (POC)

Service Execution

• Perform regular inspections as indicated in the RSM KPIs and take corrective actions as needed
• Conduct activities at site including refresher training, drills and toolbox-talks in line with the RSM KPIs
• Investigate incidents and complaints, take corrective actions as needed
• Implement strong disciplinary measures at site following the Discipline Policy
• Prepare schedules and replacements according to the needs of the site
• Prepare and update attendance sheets
• Implement quality management and adherence to SOPs
• Ensure equipment is in good condition and replace when necessary attend meetings with clients regularly in coordination with Account Management to review performance and make suggestions to clients regarding site security improvements.
• Act as a subject matter expert to propose optimization, improvements, economies of scales to clients regarding overall security beyond manned guarding, encompassing perimeter protection, remote monitoring, security optimization processes, cash handling and people safety
• Overall leadership of the guards to provide guidance, recommendations and ensure proper understanding and implementation of SOPs
• Attend weekly meetings with the respective site Account Managers to ensure collaboration between AM and Ops.

Remote Areas

• Support Human Resources for recruiting and administrative processes
• Source locally equipment and uniform as requested by management
• Conduct basic training for new employees as well as refresher training, Tool Box Talks etc. as indicated in the RSM KPIs

• Bachelor Degree in security management, operations management, business administration or related domains is preferred
• Minimum 5 years of management and leadership experience mandatory
• Previous working experience in operations management, construction management, site management and security fields is preferred
• Fluent communication in both English and Myanmar

Others:

• Willingness to travel to visit sites and work outside office hours when required in Myanmar national only
• Experience utilizing computers including Microsoft Office Suite, word processing, spreadsheet is an asset
• Autonomous and able to work under pressure in an ever-changing environment
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, planning and organizational skills
