Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, market expansion, and channel partner development for Vital Solar's tier-1 renewable energy portfolio (including Hybrid/Off-Grid Inverters, Lithium Batteries, Solar PV Modules, and BOS Accessories). This role requires a high-performing sales leader with a solid technical understanding of solar system architecture, proven experience in navigating the local Myanmar installer/dealer ecosystem, and a strong track record of achieving aggressive sales targets during peak industry seasons.

Key Responsibilities

• Channel & Installer Network Expansion: Identify, recruit, and onboard Solar Installers, Sub-dealers, Regional Wholesalers, and EPC Contractors across Yangon, Mandalay, and key regional hubs.
• Presales & Stock Locking Execution: Execute early-bird Presales and Stock Locking Campaigns prior to arrival, securing advance deposits and driving partner loyalty amidst market stock volatility.
• Multi-Brand Strategy & Solution Bundling: Position integrated system packages (Combining Inverter + Battery Storage + Trina PV Panels + BOS Accessories) tailored to client tier (Premium/C&I, Mainstream Residential/SME).
• Peak Season Revenue Maximization: Capitalize aggressively on the Myanmar Peak Season (January to May) to hit monthly and annual revenue targets, maintaining pipeline velocity and closing high-margin deals.
• Technical Sales & System Architecture Support: Bridge engineering and commercial sales by understanding sizing C&I and residential solar systems and matching technical spec sheets with customer requirements.
• Market Intelligence & Competitor Tracking: Continuously monitor import license dynamics, competitor pricing/hoarding trends, and grey-market pricing; provide agile pricing recommendations to executive management.
• Sales Team Leadership & Target Management: Lead, mentor, and track the performance of junior sales executives and technical sales engineers; enforce clear KPIs, pipeline management (ERP/Odoo), and CRM reporting.

• Direct Solar Industry Experience: Minimum 5+ years of active sales/business development experience specifically within the Solar Energy, Inverter, BESS Battery, Distribution sector in Myanmar.
• Proven Sales Performance: Demonstrated track record of achieving monthly sales volumes (e.g., historical peak sales exceeding 500M+ MMK monthly turnover during peak solar seasons).
• Brand Knowledge: Familiarity with international and domestic solar brands (e.g., Growatt, Deye, Huawei, Sungrow, Longi, Trina, Jinko, Felicity, Must) and understanding of tier-1 vs. mainstream positioning.
• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any engineering, or Business/Marketing with a strong technical background.
• Technical Competency: Ability to comprehend Solar System Design, Hybrid/Off-Grid Inverter wiring, Battery C-ratings/LFP specs, PV string sizing, and basic Single Line Diagrams (SLD) to confidently engage EPCs and senior engineers.
• Channel Network Reach: Extensive, pre-existing relationships with active solar installers, engineering contractors, and regional dealers across Upper and Lower Myanmar.
• Software & Systems: Proficient in ERP Systems (Odoo), CRM pipeline tracking, AI, MS Excel (advanced sales forecasting), and PowerPoint presentation preparation.
• Travel & Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently between Yangon HQ, Mandalay Regional Hub, and other regional for dealer/ installer engagement and trade events.
