Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Full Set Financial Reporting & Closing: Take full ownership of preparing and reviewing full set financial statements, ensuring highly accurate month-end and year-end closing for multiple clients across different industries.
• Team Supervision & Review Scope: Supervise, guide, and review the daily bookkeeping work of Junior Accountants to ensure system accuracy and strict compliance with accounting standards.
• Tax Compliance & Review: Conduct comprehensive monthly and annual tax reviews, ensuring accurate calculations and submissions for clients.
• Audit Coordination Support: Prepare advanced lead schedules, audit working papers, and provide strong coordination to ensure smooth internal and external audit processes.
• Basic Financial Advisory: Build strong client relationships and provide client management support, including delivering basic financial advice and insights directly to clients.
• Stock Count Supervision: Plan, execute, and supervise physical stock counting at client sites, resolving and reporting stock variances meticulously to the Chief Accountant / Manager.
• Process Improvement: Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the firm to enhance reporting efficiency and ensure quality control.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business degree.
• Professional Certification: Must be ACCA Part 1 qualified and possess a strong understanding of IFRS.
• Total Experience:   2+ Years of proven accounting experience, with strong preference given to candidates with Accounting Outsourcing / Multi-client / Multi-industry exposure handling complex transactions.
• Continuous Professional Development in tax updates, audit standards, and accounting regulations is highly preferred.
• Advanced Level: Financial Reporting, Tax Compliance, Audit Coordination, and Advanced Excel.
• Software Skills: Advanced working knowledge of at least 2 Accounting Softwares (QuickBooks / Xero / Odoo / ERP/ Galaxy systems).
• Advanced Level: Communication, Client Management, Problem-Solving, Time Management, and Teamwork.
• Intermediate Level: Coaching and Mentoring juniors.
• Strong competency in conflict handling, coordination, and making sound operational decisions under pressure.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel to client sites for operations and physical stock takes.
