Job Summary

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, compliance, and

internal controls, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all financial data. This role supports

management in decision-making through financial analysis and plays a key part in safeguarding

company assets.

Business Metrics

• Accuracy and timeliness of monthly/quarterly/yearly financial reports

• Compliance rate with internal policies, tax, and regulatory requirements

• Efficiency in closing financial periods (e.g., monthly closing cycle)

• Error rate reduction in reconciliations and reporting

• Contribution to cost-saving or process improvement initiatives

Area of Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of financial statements, reports, and reconciliations

• Supervise junior accountants and review their work for accuracy

• Ensure compliance with tax, audit, and statutory regulations

• Monitor cash flow, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger integrity

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes

• Provide management with insights for business performance and improvements

Job Requirement

Skills & Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and taxation rules

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or equivalent)

• Analytical skills with strong attention to detail

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Education & Work Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree or CPA/ACCA

preferred)
