Role Overview:

The Senior Accountant is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial

records related to sales, purchases, inventory, and cost accounting. This role involves close

coordination with the Store Department and regular reporting to the Chief Accountant.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Accounting:

• Verify sales invoices and Work in Process (WIP) entries against Goods Issue
• Notes (GIN).
• Prepare and maintain the Sales Ledger, Accounts Receivable Ledger, and
• WIP Ledger.
• Report sales-related financial data to the Chief Accountant.

2. Purchase Accounting:

• Review purchase invoices and Purchase Orders (POs) against Goods
• Received Notes (GRN).
• Maintain the Purchase Ledger and Accounts Payable Ledge
• Provide timely reports on purchasing activities to the Chief Accountant.

3. Cost of Goods Sold (COGS):

• Verify Goods Issue Notes and accurately calculate COGS.
• Prepare and submit COGS reports to the Chief Accountant.

4. Inventory Management:

• Review and reconcile Goods Received Notes and Goods Issue Notes.
• Cross-verify inventory records with the Store Department for accuracy.

5. Month-End/Year-End Closing:

• Check and confirm closing inventory and WIP balances.
• Coordinate with the Store Department to ensure physical and system stock
• consistency.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or LCCI Level III or ACCA Part I.
• Proven experience in accounting, preferably in the automotive or service industry and Minimum experience 3 years.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, ledgers, and inventory control.
• Proficient in Advance Excel and accounting software.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
