We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Laravel Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the Laravel framework and strong knowledge across various technologies including AWS, Jenkins CI/CD, React.js/React Native, Docker, Test Driven Development (TDD), Golang, and more.
As a Senior Laravel Developer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining our web applications, ensuring code quality, implementing security measures, and mentoring junior team members.
What you’ll be doing:

Develop and maintain web applications using the Laravel framework and its ecosystem.

Apply object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and PHP/Laravel SOLID principles to write clean, maintainable code.

Utilize AWS services including S3, EC2, and Route 53 with Basic DevOps practices.

Set up and configure Jenkins CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.

Manage background job processing with Beanstalkd.

Containerize applications using Docker to ensure consistency and portability across development environments.

Implement Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies to ensure code reliability and maintainability.

Utilize Golang programming language for specific project requirements.

Prioritize security measures to prevent security leaks and ensure data protection.

Conduct code reviews and identify areas for improvement

Optimize website performance, scalability, and security

Share knowledge and mentor junior developers for their continuous learning and growth.

Collaborate effectively with the team to deliver high-quality products on time.

Utilize Git version control system, preferably with SourceTree.

Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
What we’re looking for:

Extensive experience with the Laravel framework and PHP programming language.

Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and SOLID principles.

Proficiency in AWS services (eg. S3, EC2, Route 53) and Basic DevOps practices.

Proficiency in MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.

Experience setting up Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and managing background job processing with Beanstalkd.

Knowledge of React.js/React Native for frontend development.

Familiarity with Docker for containerization and development environments.

Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.

Proficiency in Golang programming language is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
